Scheduled AI agents
Schedule a tested agent for a morning report, recurring research or structured output using cron and an explicit timezone.
Read the guide →Five public pages. A daily change report.
Monitor competitor prices with an agent that checks a fixed source list, records observations and compares them with a retained baseline. Test five public pages before scheduling the job. Return changed values with source URLs and timestamps, and distinguish an unavailable page from a price change. Add delivery only after reviewing the report.
List exact public product or pricing URLs and the fields to observe. Use currently available search, browser or connector tools. SERP and review monitoring require their own supported data source and access permissions.
Request observed price, currency, source URL and timestamp. Choose where your approved workflow retains the previous observation. A missing field or inaccessible page must be reported as unknown, not as zero or a discount.
Run against the fixed list and review the evidence. Confirm that unchanged values remain unchanged and missing data does not trigger a false price alert. Freeze the accepted execution.
Apply the documented schedule to the tested compilation. The sample below is weekdays at 09:00 UTC; choose your intended cadence and timezone. Review the first scheduled result before relying on its notifications.
curl -fsS --max-time 30 -X PATCH -H "X-API-KEY: $FLYMYAI_API_KEY" \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{"cron_schedule":"0 9 * * 1-5","timezone":"UTC","schedule_variables":{}}' \
"$FLYMYAI_AGENTS_API_ROOT/compilations/$COMPILATION_ID/"
# Clear it through the same route with {"cron_schedule":""}.Set the API root, key and compilation ID from your configured workflow. Provide its required schedule_variables. This schedules an existing tested workflow; it does not create a scraper or comparison database.
source: https://example.com/product observed_at: example timestamp previous_price: 49 USD current_price: 45 USD change: -4 USD evidence: source URL and observed value other_source: unavailable - no price-change claim
Keep a source-linked report on the execution, or send it through an explicitly connected destination. Configure baseline retention in your workflow or application; the cron setting alone does not establish historical storage.
A five-source job bounds the starting workload, but browser time and model usage can vary. Cap the source list and output length, track usage and avoid repeated fetches inside each run. [[FACT NEEDED: selected SERP/review connector, its current rate and the target sites allowed for this monitoring job.]]
Check current pricing| Approach | What to evaluate |
|---|---|
| Scheduled FlyMy.AI workflow | Use when observations need connected tools plus a reviewed interpretation or delivery step. |
| A deterministic price scraper | Useful when page structure and the required comparison are stable; you operate parsing, scheduling and change history. |
| Manual spot checks | Useful for a small one-off comparison, with explicit notes about observation times and missing sources. |
Only after selecting and verifying the available data source and access contract. This price-page recipe does not claim a universal SERP or review API.
No. Keep the observation unknown and retain the last confirmed baseline separately.
Choose and test a storage step or retain it in your application. The schedule does not automatically create comparison history.
