Give your assistant tools to read public Instagram profiles, posts, reels and comments. Use the same data in creator research, competitive analysis and a recurring trend report.
0% template markup. Agent and tool usage billed separately.
Connect FlyMy.AI to your assistant and enable Instagram Public Data. Use the shared connection or supply your own HikerAPI key.
Give it an account, post URL, hashtag or research question. Set a request limit before collecting larger lists.
Get structured metrics and original links. Pass the results into your research agent, Sheet or approved reporting workflow.
A practical starting point. Adapt the scope to your work, connect your own tools and keep the source behind each result.
Look up public accounts, search names or topics, and explore similar accounts. Keep the username and source URL with the returned metrics.
Read recent content, captions and engagement fields. Search reels or inspect a specific post. Media URLs can feed a separate media analysis step.
Read public comments and replies on a selected post. Pagination makes the research scope explicit instead of implying a complete export.
Combine Instagram data with your other connected tools. The trend-watching template shows a research-to-report workflow using Sheets and Telegram.
Know what the workflow needs and what it returns before spending your first run.
Ask your agent: "Look up the public Instagram profile @instagram. Show the returned follower count and the source link. Use one profile request; do not fetch posts yet." Then choose a bounded follow-up: "Compare the latest available reels for these creators. Use at most two pages per account and cite each reel."
On the shared FlyMy.AI connection, each billed Instagram Public Data request costs $0.01. HTTP 400, 403 and 404 responses are billed too; 410, 429, 5xx and the balance check are free. With your own HikerAPI key, HikerAPI bills your account and FlyMy.AI charges compute time only. Agent LLM usage is separate. This landing and its starter brief add 0% template markup.

This page covers Instagram Public Data, which is read-only. For supported actions on your own Instagram account, use the separate Instagram account connector linked below and review its permissions.
No Instagram account login is needed to read public data through the shared connection. A private account or deleted post may be unavailable.
No. For example, saves and repost counts are optional. Missing data means unavailable, not zero. The original source and the observation time matter when comparing results.
Yes. Set HIKERAPI_KEY in the connection settings. HikerAPI then charges your account directly; FlyMy.AI bills compute time, with any agent LLM usage billed separately.
